The kitchen has an electric hob, an oven, an integrated refrigerator/freezer, a microwave oven, a coffee-maker, an electric kettle, a sandwich toaster, and all essential cutlery and glassware.

In the garden cottage there is another integrated refrigerator/freezer.
During the season, many restaurants to any taste and budget are open in  Adelianos Campos on the coast (3 kms), and all-year several tavernas are open in the closer surroundings where they serve very good Cretan cuisine, e.g. the Kehaghias at Stavromenos.
Bigger supermarkets can be found in Adelianos Campos as well, and all-year in the two neighbouring villages of Platanias (5 kms) and Tsesmes (4 kms).

The nearest LIDL market with a rich choice of budget imported foodstuffs is also located at Tsesmes by the country road from Arkadi Monastery to Rethymnon.
