Villa Liakos stands inmidst the old village center in a narrow lane. Right opposite there is the 450 sqm garden with flowers, mandarine-, orange- and lemon-trees.

Another short lane of 30 meters connects the square to the country road from  Rethymnon to Arkadi Monastery.
A grocery and the second taverna are in that lane, and opposite there is the bus stop, a kafenion, and Kostas' mini markethall where one really can find almost everything.
